Shipping Policy

We currently ship within the US and to Canada! Our showroom and Store are located in Monroe center, Suite E508, Hoboken, NJ, USA. All inventory is US based, so most orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days. We will make every effort to deliver your package as soon as possible. However, additional time may be required due to the peak selling season, invalid or incomplete addresses, customs clearance issues, force majeure, and public holidays. Please note that shipping carriers do not guarantee delivery times since Covid. The shipping schedules below are estimated timing. For international orders, keep in mind that delays can occur with packages being held in customs prior to delivery.  

We are pleased to offer Free standard shipping on orders over $175 for USA delivery as well as free curbside pickup in our Retail Store in Hoboken, NJ. 

Shipping within USA (Domestic)

Standard Shipping $4.99-$11.99 (Weight Based). Orders are processed within 1-3 business days after placing your order. Your order ships with USPS First Class Mail or UPS and arrives in 2-5 days once shipped depending on location.

Priority Shipping $11.99-$14.99 (Weight Based). Orders are processed and shipped the same or next business day. Your order ships with USPS Priority or UPS, whichever is the faster estimated service for your area and arrives in 1-3 business days. 

Shipping to Canada

Standard Shipping $14.99-$23.99 (Weight Based). Orders are processed within 1-3 business days after placing your order. Your order ships with USPS First Class International or UPS depending on location. Arrives in 5-7 business days.

Express Shipping $32. Orders are processed and shipped the same or next business day. Your order ships with UPS. Arrives in 2-4 business days. 


Returns and Exchanges

Returns may be requested within 14 calendar days from the delivery of the parcel. The package delivery date is day 1 of the 14 calendar days allowed for returns. In store returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery or within 14 days of in store purchase.  

Once a return has been authorized by a Hoot Couture Kids representative, the parcel must be returned to our warehouse within 14 calendar days (30 days for international returns). To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

If your return arrives to us over 14 days after return authorization date (30 if international), the return will not be accepted. At that point we will offer you the option of shipping the item back to you. Return shipping fees will apply. If an item is received damaged, you must contact us within 7 calendar days of the delivery date of the item. For damaged items, you will be provided an exchange for a new same item, where possible. 

Shipping fees are non-refundable. Coupon/discount code amounts are non-refundable.

We cannot retroactively refund or apply coupon codes to past purchases if the code is not entered at checkout by the customer. 

To start a return:

1. Please email our Returns Department with your request to within 14 calendar days of package delivery. 

2.  List the items you wish to return/exchange and reason.

3. Once approved, the return shipping instructions will be issued for qualifying merchandise.

Online orders may also be returned in person in store within 14 days of delivery.

All items purchased on Final Sale and Store Closing sale aren't returnable.

Items will be refunded to original form of payment, except in the following cases: 

All Sale items are Final Sale and cannot be refunded back to original form of payment. 

All hair accessories, jewelry, handmade items, and hosiery are final sale, but may be returned for store credit. 

Hoot Couture is not responsible for any loss or damage of item(s) during the return process.  Any shipping costs for returned or exchanged goods are borne by the buyer, and we do not accept responsibility for the loss of goods being returned/exchanged. We suggest using a trackable shipping service when returning/exchanging.Contact us for return or exchange approval and instructions by emailing

Final clearance sale items are not returnable and will be listed as such under the product description. Health and personal care items, handmade items, toys, gift cards, and accessories are final sale. 

All hair accessories, jewelry, and hosiery are final sale, but may be returned for store credit. Hats may be returned if they are in original condition with tags still attached. Bathing suits may be returned, but must have hygienic strip still attached and all original tags and the original packaging in place. 

Please note that custom orders cannot be returned. Some pre-orders can be returned if authorized by a Hoot Couture Kids representative, however a 25% re-stocking fee will apply and the rest of the return will be in store credit. 

We ask that the customer please inspect items upon receiving them. If you do not notify us of any issues within 7 calendar days of the delivery date, we cannot help you. 

To be eligible for a return or an exchange, your items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them. Visibly worn, washed, altered, or damaged items will not be processed and will be returned to you, and return shipping fees will apply. Items must be returned with all original tags, packaging and other accessories (dust bags, hangers, garment covers etc.) received with the order. The Security Tag must still be intact and attached to returned items (if applicable). Soles of footwear must be in perfect condition and must not be marked in any way. Shoes and other accessories must be returned with their original boxes/bags, which must not be damaged and/or altered or used as the external parcel for the shipment.

Gift items can be returned for store credit within 14 calendar days after the delivery date.

We reserve the right to reject any return or exchange request that does not fulfill our Return & Exchange Policy. Product reclaim shipping fees will apply.
